Tinderbox to Perform at Stormont

Posted on 13 January 2012 in Outreach

Tinderbox has been specially commissioned to create and perform a new work in Stormont on behalf of the Pilgrim Trust. Written by Julie Dutkiewicz the piece will highlight issues regarding women in the criminal justice system.

The Pilgrim Trust has supported a programme of Community Interventions with Women Offenders. The work which has taken place across Northern Ireland has provided training, support and opportunities to women offenders.

The lunchtime event in the Long Gallery, Stormont on February 8th will review the project and launch The Pilgrim Trusts 2012 Small Grants Programme.

Tinderbox will perform a short play, based around feedback and stories from participants on the programme, to highlight some of the issues raised.
