Actors, community chorus members, designers and technicians have begun rehearsing Paul Kennedy’s new play Guidelines for a Long and Happy Life which will open on October 14th and run until October 28th.
Together the company will transform a vast ex industrial space in East Belfast to create an immersive, intimate theatre experience that will transport audiences to a terrifying post-apocalyptic world where only a few survivors remain.
Tinderbox has commissioned three writers to respond to world events in the week leading up to Pick n Mix with their own personal views and unique styles.
SEVEN DAYS IN JUNE - Satirical and hard hitting pieces written by Julie Dutkiewicz, John McCann and 2011 Stewart Parker award-winner Jimmy McAleavey will be developed and rehearsed up to the minute the audience arrives.

Tinderbox is joining forces with Assault Events and Theatre Abandon in a unique new ensemble project.
Text based and devised theatre projects will be explored alongside a new dance theatre production, with new writing, original music and stage and lighting design also being developed through the intensive two-week long project.
