The next offering from State of the Arts programme is Small Talk; a practical two-day workshop for theatre-makers on creating small, tourable work.

This workshop is for artists developing one person shows or who might be interested in applying for the Take Away Theatre initiative, to explore their ideas, processes and practicalities with peers and the artistic team at Tinderbox.

There are a limited number of places and if successful we will ask you to prepare a short extract or presentation of your idea to share in the workshop.

Send us an outline of a show you are developing, and particular questions you are asking yourself about it. Please also include a paragraph about you and your work.

Deadline: 12 noon Tuesday 18th of April

State of the Arts is a strand of opportunities for theatre-makers in Northern Ireland to make work, develop ideas, explore style and process. The workshop provides space to explore, push boundaries and get support from peers and, above all, the opportunity to discover the unique and original potential in each project.
