Event: Electric Ireland IFA Event at Ulster Museum, 2024

Tinderbox worked with project-lead AIKEN PR from 2023 - 2024.

We were invited to creatively respond to their research surrounding ‘The Impact of Sport on Girls’ Resilience’.

Tinderbox created a 20-minute play that was performed at the Ulster Museum to an invited audience. The piece was filmed and used as a resource piece for furthering the conversation around engaging girls in sport.

    Testimonial from AIKEN PR:

We commissioned Tinderbox on behalf of our client to write, produce and direct a play which brought to life the results of research we had carried out into the reasons young girls give up sport in their early teenage years. Tinderbox understood our brief and delivered on it to the letter, resulting in Gameplay, a work that has resonated with our audiences. It was a pleasure to collaborate with the Tinderbox team on this project, their professional and friendly approach made the process very enjoyable.

  • Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland

    Project: Evolve Conference, February 2024
Event: Tinderbox partnered with Coca-Cola HBC to create a piece of theatre for the company’s Evolve Conference. This piece explored the environmental practices of Coca-Cola and the positive measures the company are implementing to lessen their environmental impact locally and globally. This agit-prop, anarchic and hilarious piece of theatre engaged with the subject and compelled audiences while keeping our trademark sense of provocation, play and politics. The project took place as a ‘happening’ event at the company’s Evolve Conference, Belfast.
